November 1973 Vandalism

On this date, vandals broke into the church and fellowship hall, smashing each and every window, including the Ruth and Naomi Chancel Window. The chandelier lost many of its original oil lamps and mirrors, the lights were broken, furniture strewn about, and nursery ransacked. Members quickly made initial repairs, but help had to come from the community to make repairs on the large window. It was repaired one year later.
